As the satellite data are readily available, we'll read and record the values for vegetation and UV exposure at a specific location. A red circle on the images indicates the location. Comparing the values at the marked location for a full year should reveal whether a relationship between the two quantities exists or not.

On the next page, to give you a quick example of quantifying satellite data from images, you'll collect vegetation data for the marked location for October, November, and December.
