How Do Interactions among Earth's Spheres Vary Regionally?
ES0108  Regional Variations

The total of all the interactions among all the spheres in all locations on our planet define the Earth system. Across the globe however, Earth's spheres are interacting with each other in different ways. The dominant Earth system processes at any location ultimately control the climate, landscape, and type and density of biosphere that can survive in that region.
