Task

You are a member of an archaeological team that has studied many ancient Buddhist sites, including the Amaravati Stupa and the Ajanta Caves. Your team has been asked to write a magazine article about your research at several Buddhist sites.

You will work with two other student-archaeologists to research the Amaravati Stupa, the Ajanta Caves, and one other Buddhist site. You will work as a team to write an introduction to your article. Then each team member will select a Buddhist site and write 2–3 pages about it for the magazine article. The article will include what these sites can tell us about ancient Buddhist culture. You will also provide a glossary and a bibliography.
