Task

The United States Congress has just approved funding for a new Museum of Ancient Civilizations. You and your classmates have been hired as curators, or managers. You will curate exhibits that will showcase four of history's most mysterious monuments and settlements:

Stonehenge in England
Catal Huyuk in Turkey
Lascaux Cave in France
Rapa Nui (Easter Island) in the Pacific Ocean.

Each exhibit will teach the public about one of the archaeological sites, what scientists have found there, and what questions and mysteries still remain.

You will work individually to learn about one of these four sites. Then everyone who has studied the same site will create an exhibit about that place. The exhibit can be a poster, a multimedia presentation, or a Web site.
