Andrea Bermúdez

An author and consultant for several of McDougal Littell's most successful langugage arts series, Dr. Bermúdez has consulted and published widely in the areas of bilingual education, English as a Second Language, and multicultural education. Born in Havana, Cuba, she came to the United States in l960. She is Professor of Education and Director of the Research Center for Language and Culture at the University of Houston--Clear Lake.
