Check out some French-language movie and music sites on the Web. Take notes on the information you find, and keep track of how many films and performers are already familiar to you. What do you think of the French translations of the names of American films? Can you recognize any American films from their French titles alone? Note any French-language movies or recording artists you find especially interesting. Perhaps you will come across their names again as you continue your French studies.
