LIFE IN CANADA

Correspond with a Canadian "keypal" (a pen pal who writes via e-mail) and ask your keypal questions about life in Canada. Mark the location of your keypal alongside those of your classmates' keypals on a wall map of Canada.

Ask your keypal about daily life in Canada and some of the topics you've read about in the chapter, such as Canada's diverse culture or its economy. Then, compare the responses you receive with those your classmates receive from keypals in other parts of Canada.

Write a report describing how your original ideas about life in Canada matched up to the answers you received from your keypal. The report should explain how life in Canada is different from or similar to life in your community. It should also mention differences you discovered in comparing life in different parts of Canada.
