ES2402  Observe how the monsoon changes direction.

This animation shows average wind and precipitation data for the months of April through December over a five-year period. Seasonal changes in the location of air pressure belts cause the winds to change direction. Step through the movie and examine the frames to observe how conditions change from April to December. Determine when the winds reverse direction and what type of weather they bring to India and Southeast Asia.
