For either Mount Pinatubo or another volcano, use available resources to prepare a report that answers the question "How Can One Volcano Change the World?" Describe short-term and long-term changes to the local and global environments caused by eruptions of the volcano.

This combined radar image shows Mount Pinatubo in 1994, three years after the eruption. The violet color on the high slopes shows the rougher surface of ash deposited during the main eruption period. The dark drainages are the lahars, which continue to flood the river valleys after heavy rains.
