By comparing the height of the tropopause at different latitudes, you can visualize the global shape of the troposphere. These graphs show sounding data from a high latitude location (Barrow), a middle latitude location (Riverton), and near the equator (Rochembeau). All three soundings were taken at 12Z, August 20, 2001.
